BSCP32 ‘Metering Dispensations’ Application Key Dates

Guidance Note

This information is provided for BSC Parties wishing to make application for a Metering Dispensation in accordance with BSCP32 ‘Metering Dispensations’.

The table below shows the relevant proposed Panel Committee meeting dates that will consider applications for Metering Dispensations according to the date of submission and validation of the application. Once submitted, Elexon will validate an application and may require further clarifications or additional information about the details of the Metering Dispensation. Therefore applications submitted close to, or on, the dates indicated in the left hand column below may not achieve the corresponding meeting dates (far right column) where more information is required. Applications for Metering Dispensation should be sent to dispensations@elexon.co.uk.

The Supplier Volume Allocation Group (SVG) is the BSC Panel Committee responsible for considering Metering Dispensations against Codes of Practice (CoPs) 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 10. The Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG) is the BSC Panel Committee responsible for considering Metering Dispensations against CoPs 1, 2, 3 and 4.

It should be noted that where a Metering Dispensation is required for CoPs 3 or 4, an approval is required from both Panel Committees.
