DIP Supplement establishes DIP as a section of the Balancing and Settlement Code which contains the rules for the DIP Manager, DIP Applicants and DIP users. It covers on-boarding, off-boarding, governance and assurance and additional areas.

This Annex sets out the process for staggered implementation and provides the details of when different parts of the DIP Rules will be implemented in accordance with the DIP Transition Plan.

The purpose of this Annex is identify any configurable parameters that will be reviewed periodically to cater for changing demand and capacity forecasts, where they have not been identified elsewhere in this DSD. This Annex also defines the operational procedures required by DIP Users and DIP Connection Providers to securely exchange metering and consumption information with the DIP using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Digital Certificates.

This Annex to DSD002 ‘DIP Connection and Operation’ has been published as the DIP-PKI Policy to set out the requirements for the DIP-PKI. It sets out the rules and applicability of a Digital Certificate to the DIP. 

This annex contains the access agreement to the DIP and that a party will comply with the DIP rules.

The purpose of this DSD is to set out the arrangements for providing assurance that DIP Participants are adhering to the DIP Rules and processes. The DIP has the capability to routinely produce Reports that will support the Authority, Code Bodies and other interested persons in meeting their need to gain assurance that DIP Users are adhering to their obligations under relevant industry arrangements. This DSD sets out how the DIP Manager may support such organisations by sharing information and providing reports relating to DIP Users’ use of the DIP.

The purpose of this DSD is to set out the rules and processes the DIP Participants are expected to adhere to in relation to the DIP Change process in order to make changes to the DIP and DIP Rules. Changes to Industry Codes are subject to the modification and change processes established by those Industry Codes.

The purpose of this DSD is to set out the rules and processes the DIP Participants are expected to adhere to in relation to the DIP. The budgeting arrangements cover the process by which the DIP Manager shall set the forthcoming DIP Budget, consult with DIP Users and interested stakeholders and finalise the DIP Budget following consultation. The funding arrangements are set to ensure all DIP Costs are met by DIP Payees, while ensuring that the DIP Manager does not make a profit or a loss in any DIP Year (but may retain funds for multi-year investments where part of the DIP Budget).

The purpose of this DSD is to set out the rules and processes the DIP Participants are expected to adhere to in relation to the DIP. Data Management ensures that the relevant legislation is adhered to with regards to the protection of data. The rules, processes and procedures are the minimal level to be adhered to and can be exceeded should individual organisations wish to.
